On Monday and Tuesday nights last week the intrepid Waroona DHS Bushrangers braved the weather to help with surveying for the critically endangered Western Ringtail possum. Torbay is lucky enough to have quite a number of these cute little marsupials still living in the area.
Two different survey locations were chosen and each survey was around an hour long. On the first night 9 individuals seen with 11 surveyed on the Tuesday. We are very pleased with those results which indicate good numbers in those two locations.
