Possum Printmaking and Fun Facts about Possums

At this all day workshop participants will develop a relief print based on the Western Ringtail Possum and its habitat.

During the first half of the workshop participants will be looking at the vegetation and habitat of the possum
and interpreting these shapes colours and textures in to the background of the print.

The second half will be producing a print using the mixed media painted backgrounds
produced earlier where the possum is the star.

Through the day participants will have the opportunity to learn some interesting facts about the possums.

No previous art experience is required and this event is suitable for anyone 10 years of age and above.

All materials, plus lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Protective clothing, aprons or art shirts should be worn.
