We had a huge turnout at the fruit tree grafting workshop held on the 10th August at Oranje Tractor Farm. The workshop was big success with everyone learning a great deal from fruit tree expert Neil Barraclough. The group enjoyed absorbing Neil’s knowledge of grafting, saw a multi-grafted fruit tree demonstration and an avocado grafting demonstration. They then got the opportunity to practice and graft their own tree from the selection of rootstock and scion material Neil brought with him. Alan Cohen came alone to give a tool sharpening workshop which was an added bonus for the day!
