Project area expands to include City of Albany coastal reserves
Finally we have funding available to assist farmers to look closely at which nutrients they need to apply and exactly how much is required. The funding comes in the form of subsidised soil testing, easy to read fertiliser mapping (done on a paddock by paddock basis), meeting with an agronomist and tissue testing, after fertiliser application.
With a value of approximately $3500 per farm, available at a cost of just $300, the program has seen many farmers jump at the opportunity.
Expressions of Interest (EOI) to join the first year of this program closed on 14th August.
