Bat Box Building and Bat Night Walk
What amazing workshops with bat expert Joe Tonga!
We learnt all about our local bat species in an informative presentation and then set about building bat boxes.
The local community enjoyed the experience helping to build homes for bats which have now been installed around the Torbay Hall area.
This was followed by an evening bat excursion using the latest tech gear to locate bats and other creatures.
We also learnt about scorpions that glow blue-green under ultraviolet light and spotted some frogs too.
