Join the Torbay Catchment Group for a special evening of pizza, possums and spotlighting as we discover more about one of our region’s most threatened native animals – the critically endangered Western Ringtail Possum.

We’ll start the evening at the Elleker Tavern with some delicious pizza and a relaxed chat about Western Ringtail Possums, including how to identify them, where they live, the threats they face and why the Torbay area provides such important habitat for the species.

As the sun goes down, we’ll grab our torches and head out on a guided spotlighting walk through Elleker to search for Western Ringtail Possums in their natural habitat. Along the way, we’ll share tips on how to spot them and keep an eye out for some of Elleker’s other nocturnal wildlife.

This is a great opportunity to learn more about the wildlife living in our own backyards and how we can all play a part in protecting it.

Bring a torch, wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
