Over the past year Gondwana Link have worked with award-winning film maker Frank Rijavec to bring together a powerful portrayal of how the Link is being achieved. Titled ‘Breathing Life into Boodja’, this 48 minute film celebrates the enduring strength of Noongar culture and highlights the wonderful efforts of environmentalists, farmers, scientists, the Noongar community and local groups working in the central zone of Gondwana Link.  It brings together their many stories in a powerful collective narrative of positive change, and shows how communities can rise to the great global challenges of our time – reversing ecological loss, respecting and embracing cultural richness, and growing food and fibre while enjoying the wildlife around them.

This is ecological restoration with community and culture at its heart!

Gondwana Link is delighted to invite you to the premiere of our film ‘Breathing Life into Boodja’ at 5.45 pm on Tuesday 3 December (nibbles and pay bar from 5.00pm).  Please join us to watch it on the big screen at the Albany Entertainment Centre.  The premiere is a FREE community event, so please feel free to share this invitation with friends, family members and colleagues who you think would be interested.

If you would like to attend, please take a moment to RSVP (for catering) – or email margaret@gondwanalink.org.
