<p data-start="292" data-end="492">Join us for a <strong data-start="306" data-end="355">celebration of nature, culture, and community</strong> at the <strong data-start="363" data-end="385">Festival of Torbay</strong> — a day to connect with the land, learn from experts, and experience the magic of our local environment.</p>
<p data-start="494" data-end="736">Set against the beautiful backdrop of the Torbay Hall, this festival brings together <strong data-start="584" data-end="637">workshops, walks, talks, music, food, and markets</strong> — all designed to inspire and empower our community to care for this special place we call home.</p>

Learn how to protect precious habitats for <strong data-start="901" data-end="924">EPBC-listed species</strong> such as the <strong data-start="937" data-end="964">Western Ringtail Possum</strong> and <strong data-start="969" data-end="988">Black-Cockatoos</strong>, dive into the world of <strong data-start="1013" data-end="1031">rakali ecology</strong>, and take part in <strong data-start="1050" data-end="1073">weed identification</strong>, <strong data-start="1075" data-end="1102">feral animal management</strong>, and <strong data-start="1108" data-end="1135">native seed propagation</strong> sessions.</p>

<p data-start="2390" data-end="2580">Begin the day with a <strong data-start="2411" data-end="2433">Welcome to Country</strong> (at 9.30am) from Vernice Gillies and experience the energy and spirit of the <strong data-start="2478" data-end="2506">Mooditch Nop Dance Group </strong>(at 10am), as we come together to honour the land, culture, and people of Torbay.</p>
